Thameshead Models of Stourbridge specialised primarily in N gauge white metal kit accessories for model railways, including this Austin (BMC) Loadstar with flatbed trailer and simulated Scammell coupling. The tractor unit and trailer are also available separately. Since 1985 the product range was marketed through B H Enterprises who subsequently went on to own the company.

The kits are supplied in a clear plastic bag with a header card.
