Sundaw were one of a number of small die casting firms who manufactured quite crude toys in the period following the end of the Second World War. Based in Bath Row, Birmingham, they were perhaps best known for their single and double deck bus models, but they also made a model which was labelled as an articulated lorry but should have been described as a Scammell mechanical horse because it couldn’t really be anything else. It is similar to the TAL Developments model from the same era.
