The model has metal wheels and a ribbed trailer floor, and the tractor and trailer castings are painted evenly inside and out. Usually models of this era were spray painted on trays, leaving the undersides and insides as bare metal. The single front wheel is the same colour as the tractor unit, and mounted on a swivelling fork riveted to the cab casting, allowing the model to perform the tight steering manoeuvres of the original vehicle. The other wheels are black with the trailer wheels being larger than those on the tractor. Silver trim is applied to the single headlight and the front grille, and a red and gold decal ‘Transport Services’ is applied to the cab rear. The trailer is connected by a pin inserted into a boss on the tractor. For no apparent reason, two pins are provided on the trailer allowing for two different length variations.
Known colours are red and green. The club would appreciate any information regarding other colour versions. Model size is 150 or 160mm long x 48mm wide x 48mm high.
